Matty & Chloe 2025

Chloé & Matty

August 23, 2025

Tonganoxie, KS

Friends and family, welcome!

Here you’ll find all that you’ll need to know regarding our wedding—there’s info related to travel, accommodations, things to do around Tonganoxie, and more! If you have further questions, you can of course reach out to Chloé or Matty by phone, or you can email us here: chloe.matty25@gmail.com

Registry:

In lieu of specific items, we humbly ask that any gifts be made in the form of cash or check (Venmo works too:), which will directly support one of the many home renovation projects related to our new house in the Hudson Valley! (As many of you know, we bought a home together in the Hudson Valley, in a hamlet called Kerhonkson, which is located just on the western side of the Shawankgunk Ridge facing the Catskill Mountains). Current and long-term projects range from tearing up carpet and replacing floors, to re-insulating our attic, to digging french drains, and updating our kitchen . . . We have a lot on our plate, which Matty is doing more or less on his own.

Venue:

The wedding will take place at 21702 219th St. in Tonganoxie, Kansas. This is the site of Chloe’s mom’s house, which is also the home in which Chloé grew up. More specifically, the wedding and its festivities will take place outdoors on the beautiful farmland that was originally purchased by Chloé’s grandfather decades ago.

Dress:

Bearing the venue in mind, we suggest that you dress comfortably. It will most likely be pretty warm, we’ll be outside, standing and walking on grass. Dress up in a way that makes you feel excited, free, like yourself, comfortable.

Travel:

If you’re flying, the closest international airport to Tonganoxie is Kansas City International Airport (MCI), which is served by all major airline carriers. It’s pretty simple 40 minute drive from the airport to the venue. Here is a link to the Kansas City Airport: https://flykc.com/

Accomodations:

There are many possible options as far as hotels and AirBnB go. We might suggest staying in Lawrence, a vibrant college town (home to the University of Kansas) that’s about a 20 minute drive from Tonganoxie. Lawrence is full of small town charm: very walkable, lots of great bars, restaurants, and shops. Here are a few suggested hotels:

1) The Eldridge - historic, fancy-ish downtown hotel (~$200 per night): https://eldridgehotel.com/

2) The Oread - old, castle-like vibe, with a rooftop bar, close to the KU campus (~$165 per night): https://www.theoread.com/

3) Spring Hill Suites Lawerence - informal, relaxed, downtown hotel with possible views of the Kansas River (~$125 per night): https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/lwcks-springhill-suites-lawrence-downtown/overview/?scid=f2ae0541-1279-4f24-b197-a979c79310b0
